Our flagship program
The UPAAA-NSW Scholarship
Sponsoring academically deserving but financially disadvantaged Filipino students at the University of the Philippines since 1982.
The association established this scholarship to give talented students the chance to complete a UP education regardless of financial circumstance. The very first grant was awarded in 1982 to a Mass Communication student — and the program has continued ever since.
What the grant covers
The association allocates $3,000–$3,500 per student for the entire duration of their studies, covering tuition, books, transportation, and stipends. UP's Scholarship Office manages fund distribution and scholar oversight.
